Unfortunately due to the uncertain situation with flights and the efforts to contain coronavirus in Italy, I have had to cancel the May trip this year. We are all very disappointed but the beauty of those views and the lovely food will wait! Happy painting.I have just returned fron a lovely trip sailing down the Nile and am currently working on a painting inspired by 3000 years when change has happened slowly and Egypt still felt quite biblical.
Casa di Alfredo is just 600m from Spoltore and is large enough for all our painting guests to stay, eat and rest together. With views of the mountains and the sea we are excited to add this venue to our painting holiday offering. All other details on the website remain the same.
Wonderful weather - a bit hot for the first few days but then perfect for me at about 27 degrees. Managed to do some sketching in graphite and acrylic and hope to work them up later. A new fish restaurant has opened in the village and The Bike Stop is expanding, providing more lovely accommodation for short-term stays in a palazzo at the top of the village. Also checked out two new hilltop towns in the locality. Montepagano which has a little museum and whilst we were there, an art exhibition by Paolo of Spoltore of intriguing sculptures and graphic prints.
